As a former CO of 7th (though nowhere near the best) it would be nice to see some old faces back on scene. It's surprising just looking through the forum and seeing all the older guys posts, knowing this community has survived this long and continues to do it. So ready for this.

I'll be honest here. The only way 7th will ever flourish the way it did is if Crom comes back as the CO. Probably the only reason I would ever come back to 7th.

In order for this to happen, you would have to Officially join the 7Th Cavalry and convince the Command Staff to open a new Platoon to a game that they have not supported in half a decade. They have an extremely well organized Regiment these days, nice forums and a top notch TS3 server.

The 7th Cav that I linked you guys to is over 10 years old, and falls well into the time frame of this game. What's more is that they were not as organized back then as they are now. So it's a whole different beast.

But what I'm saying is the 7th you linked to doesn't have any ties with the 7th that played this game lol

Yeah, started college so not much time for games, but then I wanted to play a few months back and it was gone. So I have just been waiting in the shadows like many. I guess two weeks is what they are saying for a community wide test.

Carls... Holy hell man. Long time buddy. College sounds cool but Ive been traveling the world now. U.S. Marines got me going places I never thought Id ever set foot in.

Also I do agree that 7th isn't the same without Crom. I'd love to see him back in full force when the game really kicks off but we can only see. If he doesn't wish to be a CO then I'll resume 7ths reign of terror against the other AGs. I'm nowhere near as seasoned as most of the other top vets here but when it comes down to it I enjoy being there for the community of the AG and not just wins or the games. It's always fun but when I really think about what made COC so great, it's an addicting game that brought together some of the most unique people from around the world into the same competitive styles of play and strategy.

This is definitely going to be a very warm welcome to a game I've missed playing very much.
